Unused credits: refundable for 30 days
Contact us within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund your unused credits in full, no questions asked.
Used credits
A credit is considered used once a report has been generated for a VIN. Because we pay our data sources per report, used credits are generally not refundable. If a report failed to generate, the credit is returned to your account automatically.
Wrong VIN entered
We validate VINs before running a report to catch typos. If a report was still generated for a mistyped VIN, contact support. We review these case by case and usually restore the credit.
How to request a refund
Email contact@carfaxvincheck.com from your account email with your order details. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Carfax Vin Checksupport usually replies within a few hours.
