Account details (name, email), the VINs you check, your order history, and standard technical logs. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and never touch our servers.

2. How we use it

To deliver reports you purchase, keep your account secure, provide support, and send transactional emails such as receipts. We only send marketing email if you opt in, and every message includes an unsubscribe link.

3. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Carfax Vin Check (hosting, database, payments, report data) and when the law requires it. We never sell your personal information.

4. Retention and deletion

Reports and orders stay in your account so you can access them later. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
